Damian Romano Leasing Executive

Damian’s primary remit at Maras Group is the leasing of retail and commercial office space within the group’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Maras Group, Damian worked for a City-based real estate agency where he was solely responsible for the management and leasing up of a good-sized property portfolio.  Damian also spent several years with QBE Insurance (in both SA and WA) primarily as an Insurance Recovery Specialist and Account Management roles with both Australian Credit Management and RAA Insurance.

He has a Bachelor of Business & Economics from Flinders University and is a Registered Property Manager (License Number 309922).  Damian has also achieved a Statement of Attainment forming part of CPP41419 – Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice from the Real Estate Training Academy and is constantly upskilling his commercial and retail leasing knowledge via various professional development courses, honing in on legislative updates, lease negotiation techniques and emerging leasing trends.  He has recently completed the Leasing Fundamentals Retail and Commercial courses through the Property Council Academy.

Damian has a passion for building long-term professional relationships and has a dedication to the customer service aspect of commercial leasing.

He prides himself on his abilities to think laterally to achieve common goals and strives for win-win scenarios in all dealings.
